InDesign tutorials, tips, tricks and techniques for DTP page layout and design troubleshooting. Adobe InDesign tips and techniques
Yet, despite this, many designers have found it difficult to make the transition smoothly. And even younger graphic design graduates and students, who have learned their trade predominantly with Adobe InDesign, still find that there is constantly more to learn with the software. Especially when the program is used in real-world design situations, outside of the design school studio. Of course universities and manuals can only teach so much. Indeed, the Adobe CS3 bundle does not even come with a printed software manual, which makes teaching yourself InDesign that much more difficult. As with most graphics software, there often appears to be many undocumented features and techniques that never make it into the manuals. Which is where online tutorials come in. Therefore, this is not intended to be an alternative to the InDesign manual – but rather a supplemental collection of tips, advice and suggestions. We are steadily adding to this section and look forward to expanding it in the future.
