Adobe Illustrator has one of the steepest learning curves of all the graphics applications. Its use of vectors is often one of the most confusing features for many new designers, as is the integration with bitmap editors such as Photoshop and the various page layout programs.

As ever, the teach yourself approach has many advantages over wading through the manual or sitting in a classroom, and online help is a useful way to get to grips with many of the common tools, as well as undocumented features.
