Graphics software publisher Adobe recently organised a conference called 'Ideas - a creative exchange'. Hosted in New York in April 2005, the conference brought together creatives from the design and publishing industries. The premise was to share ideas on emerging trends in the design industry and the impact of technology on design solutions.
As well as keynote sessions, the conference included 'New Thinking Sessions' - which involved discussions on a number of design, publishing, branding and technological issues, including the following;
- Building a Brand from the Bottom Up
- Custom Communications for Niche Markets

- Digital Asset Management and Collaboration
- Using Technology to Embrace Change
There were also a series of 'Adobe Live' events, which focused on practical design and publishing solutions using Adobe's design software applications.
