Adobe Acrobat

The design and publishing industry's standard digital proofing system, Acrobat, has received a fresh upgrade. The new version 7 comes in three flavours, Professional, Standard and Elements (which is aimed more at business users, rather than creatives). A key feature of the Professional version is that documents can be created that ensure that not everyone in the production workflow now has to have the paid version of the product. Users of the free Reader software can now play an active part in what Adobe calls the 'document review cycle'. This includes the ability to submit comments for feedback from multiple reviewers, using a highlighter function, electronic 'stickies' and other commenting tools.
Now isn't that just what all designers have been waiting for? Even more critics! Design by committee anyone?
