Scribus
Scribus is an Open Source page layout tool for Linux, Mac OS X and Windows, that allows designers to lay out documents in a similar manner to QuarkXpress and Adobe InDesign. Scribus supports professional publishing features such as CMYK color separations, ICC color management and PDF creation.

Style sheets

Style sheets, as used in page layout software, are used to mark up the appearance of a section of type, or even just one character. For example a style sheet can be set up so that, at the click of a mouse, a paragraph can appear in bold type and in blue. Customized keyboard shortcuts can also be applied to style sheets to make the formatting process even faster.
