Welcome to the design forums!

The Design Talkboard graphic design forums were a place for anyone interested in the creative industry to have a virtual chin-wag with other designers. But there have been some changes.

Unfortunately, the Design : Talkboard Forums no longer function in their original format. We thank all of you who have taken part in the discussions over the years and helped to make it a friendly and informative graphic design discussion forum.

Design : Talkboard will continue to run, with the addition of a number of new Talkboard review sections, including our new graphic design tips. We hope that you will find it as useful a place for graphic design information and resources as it’s always been. Our new direction is more structured and we hope to keep adding tutorials and tips to the talkboard.

History of the forum

The graphic design, web site design and pre-press discussion forums were a friendly place for all creatives – from established professionals, to students – to talk about design, graphics software such as Adobe CS and Quark, jobs and resources.

Anyone was free to browse the forums and read what everyone else had to say (see our top forum topics below).

The subject matter was up to the user. Designers were more than welcome to start their own discussion topic on any subject (as long as it is at least vaguely to do with the creative industry - graphics, pre-press, web development, product design, advertising, publishing etc...).
