For the first time Photoshop is available in Universal Binary format for Intel-based and PowerPC Apple Macs. More about the release of Adobe Photoshop CS3. 15 December 2006 Roxio DVDit Pro HD Roxio, the software company behind the CD and DVD burning application Toast, has released a new Blu-ray capable version of DVDit Pro HD, which allows video professionals and interactive designers the ability to create high-definition Blu-ray disc movies on their PC. 6 December 2006 BBEdit 8.5.2 Bare Bones Software has released BBEdit version 8.5.2. This update for its HTML and text editor for Mac webmasters, fixes a number of bugs. This version of BBEdit comes as a Universal Binary package, for both Intel and PowerPC-based Macintosh computers. BBEdit 8.5 requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or Mac OS X 10.4 or later for Automator support. 5 December 2006 Microsoft Expression Web Microsoft has released the final version of what it claims is a professional web design software tool. Aimed at reducing complexity and easing the integration of data into web sites it costs US$299, or $99 upgrade for Frontpage users. Microsoft Expression Web will become part of the Expression Studio suite of graphics tools 5 December 2006
