Multimedia design newsQuickTime vulnerabilities fixed by AppleApple Computer has announced that it has plugged a number of security holes in its multimedia tool QuickTime. The security holes have been labeled highly critical by Apple and could potentially allow malicious hackers to control a user's machine to help launch denial of service attacks on other systems Apple also says that the update delivers 'several important bug fixes, primarily in the areas of streaming and H.264 video. QuickTime 7 Pro users also gain the ability to create video and audio files that can be played back on compatible iPods.
