Adobe Photographer's Directory
 On the back of announcements about the digital Camera Raw workflow and the adoption of the .DNG digital graphics format, software giant Adobe has announced plans to launch the Adobe Photographer's Directory. This is a listing of professional photographers, accessible directly from within Adobe's creative software products. The Adobe Photographer's Directory will initially be available in North America, but over time will be extended to include photographers in other countries.
Adobe is working closely with the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) to fill the new directory. As charter members of the directory, ASMP has launched a web site describing how photographers can sign up to be included. As well as this, Adobe will work with the Advertising Photographers of America (APA) and other professional associations to try and ensure that the Photographers Directory is a comprehensive professional photographic resource.
